Kindergarten thru School Age Philosophy

We believe that we are the "neighborhood" for children this age. This is where they come to play and make friends. They need to make choices. They need to be independent. They need time to be alone. We help each child find their place in this circle of friends. We offer them activities and choices that are not always available in their day at school.

What do we do with school age children?
We play outside; we play field games; we put on plays; we listen to their concerns; we help them solve conflicts with a win-win philosophy; we paint and use clay; we celebrate multi-cultural customs; we help them with their homework; and we advocate for their right to play.
