“A Place to Grow has been a wonderful part of our lives for the last four years. My oldest son attended the Montessori preschool for three years and my middle son just completed his first year. From the moment we walk in the door each day we feel welcome and happy!
The building feels like both a home and a school and it is always impeccable. However, it’s the incredible people that make A Place to Grow the special place that it is. Maria, the Director, is always accommodating to our families’ specific needs. She greets us with a smile and really couldn’t be more caring or professional. Each of the teachers and classroom assistants have been invested in our boys social and educational development. Both of my boys were excited to go each day and never wanted to leave. It really is a place full of love and I believe my boys could feel that.
As their mom I actually have first hand experience with that feeling of loving my preschool because I attended the first A Place to Grow school in Belmont around 30 years ago! I was in the first “graduating class” and have many fond memories of my days in preschool with my lovely teacher, Suzanne Foley. Even when I see her now she always has a hug and words of wisdom.
I can’t say enough about my personal experience and that of my boys at A Place To Grow!”

“Our first daughter was one of the initial students to attend the Strawberry Hill facility.  There were only three children who attended the school at this time.  The facility was absolutely beautiful—clean, engaging and bright—which is why we chose the school! As years passed, the school grew from three students to waitlists of students, which can undoubtedly be linked to stories about the amazing curriculum offered at the school.  The school offers Spanish In Motion and Montessori-based programs, which suited my daughter’s independent and curious personality.  The teachers are warm and caring—they went above and beyond to make our experience at the school as comfortable and peaceful as possible so that my husband and I could focus on work during the day without worry. Our first daughter attended the school from 9 months to 5 years old, attending the Infant Program through the Pre-K program.  The math and reading work in the Pre-K program  as well as any social skill work prepared her very well for Kindergarten.  The kids had a very sweet graduation ceremony to remember all of their experiences at APTG, which were all truly memorable and fun!”;
