Our Story

Welcome!  Thank you for your interest  in A Place To Grow.  It was the delight and joy in raising my children that inspired me to start A Place To Grow in 1979.  I have a solid foundation and background in Early Education and Care.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Wellesley College, a Master’s Degree from Lesley University and I was an adjunct faculty member at Simmons College for 10 years. However, I believe that it is my own experience as a working mother of four daughters that has contributed the most to the philosophy of A Place To Grow – a parent partnership that offers working families flexible hours and schedules, supportive directors and family events and involvement. Our commitment to families is the foundation of our program and it’s success.

It has been an amazing journey from our first center founded in 1979 in Belmont for 19 children to a network of 5 centers where we now provide early education and care to over 300 children each day.  I am proud that my four daughters and my husband now share in the management and education of children at A Place To Grow.  Throughout our website you will learn more about educational philosophy and our commitment to you and to your children.

My family and I look forard to having you join A Place To Grow and together we can enjoy and celebrate your child’s unique childhood.  If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to call us at 978-369-5439 or email us at aplacetogrow@aol.com.

Sincerely,

Suzanne Foley, founder
